And thus for the very fame Rea - l'on , upon any partial Repletion when the Fibres are more diitratted by it , in that Part than in any other , will even the remoteft in a very fliort Time be drawn into Confent ; and upon this Account it is that a full Meal gives a Straitnefs and Weight to the whole Body as well as to the Stomach , as hath often been taken notice by Sanflorius in thefe Apbo - rifms - , and alfo hence may manifeftly appear the Reafon , why Perfons , efpecially the moil robuil , upon making a large Quantity of Urine at a Time , feel a certain Shudder all over the Body , which is nothing elfe than a total Contraction of all the lids drawn into Confent with that which is made by the Bladder upon the Expulfion of its Contents , But itili the moil delightful and ufeful Application of this Theory might be to Phlebotomy - , but the comparable Bellini , hath already done this fo well , by determining the Times of Bleeding the tities to be drawn off , and the Confequences of it , that there is no need of enlarging upon it : The Reader may confult his Propofitions de MiJJione Sanguinis .
